NEMS/MEMS was formed to serve as a vehicle for the transfer of new technologies from the laboratory to the marketplace. To achieve this objective Nems has formed a unique partnership with the University of Missouri - Columbia which will allow exclusive licensing of technologies developed by the Gangopadhyay Research Group, and access to many university resources. NEMS/MEMS is a member of NTEC (NanoTechnology Enterprise Consortium). NTEC has been recently formed to promote nanotechnology research and product development. Missouri industries including Boeing are members of this Consortium.
